  • Our Climate Ourselves

Our Climate Ourselves supports people from all sectors and walks of life in taking action on climate change. We serve especially the many people who are convinced that climate change is a real and serious issue, but who feel poorly equipped to justify this concern to others, and the many people who have a sense that our world will be a better, safer, and more beautiful place once we have addressed climate change. Our work takes various forms— from writing, to teaching and training, to the development of computer simulators and videos and other resources. In all of these efforts we work with others to help them (and ourselves) find

    • empowerment – the ability to take effective action,
    • inspiration – the capacity to create ways of living and making a living that work within the Earth’s limits, and
    • insight – sharper perceptions of ourselves and our place on Earth and in the human community, discovered by opening ourselves to the reality of climate change.
